Refund policy & billing terms

14-day refund, no questions asked

If Applift isn't right for you, email us within 14days of a charge and we'll refund it in full. We won't ask you to justify it, and we won't try to talk you out of it.

Email support@applift.work from the address on your account. A person reads it and issues the refund through Stripe — usually within one business day. It then takes your bank a few days to show the money back on your statement.

Refunds include any tax you were charged. If you paid $12 plus sales tax, VAT or GST, the refund covers the whole amount that left your account — Stripe reverses the tax with the payment.

To be straightforward about it: this is handled by a human, not a button. There is no self-serve refund in the app, so please email rather than looking for one.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan → Manage billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal. No email required, and no cancellation flow designed to change your mind. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Founding pricing

Applift Pro is $12/month as a Founding price. It is locked for life — for as long as your subscription stays active — for the first 100 subscribers, or until Dec 31, 2026, whichever comes first. After that, the price for new subscribers becomes $29/month.

If you subscribe at the Founding price, that increase does not apply to you. We are not promising to remember: your subscription stays attached to the original price, and there is no process on our side that moves it.

Both limits are published on purpose. “First 100” on its own is something you would have to take on trust, since you can't see the count — the date is there so the offer has an end you can actually check.

Billing, tax and who you're paying

Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for Applift. That means Stripe handles sales tax, VAT and GST where they apply. Applift never sees or stores your card details.

Prices on this site are shown before tax. Tax is calculated and added at checkout based on where you are, so the total you pay may be higher than the listed $12. You will see the exact amount, including tax, on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm — nothing is charged until then.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. There is no annual plan and no lock-in.

The free plan

Job tracking, resume storage and application autofill are free and unlimited, and stay that way. The free plan includes a monthly allowance of AI generations; Pro removes that limit. You do not need a card to use the free plan.
